After aggressively trying to trade CB Joe Haden the Browns have released the former Pro Bowler. Haden was the centerpiece of the Browns defense for years before injuries eventually led to him being expendable.

The Steelers have roughly 10 million in cap room according to OverTheCap.com which should be enough room to sign Haden should they choose to do so.
The secondary for the Steelers has been underwhelming to say the least throughout the preseason. They added Coty Sensabaugh through free agency and he was given reps with the first team last week, but he wasn't exactly impressive.
Rookie Cam Sutton finally returned from an injury last week and showed some signs of life Saturday night against the Colts. It wouldn't be wise to expect him to have much of a role heading into the beginning of the season, though. Artie Burns went thru the same situation last season and didn't become a factor until the end of October.
Haden struggled last season, but played thru several injuries before the Browns finally shut him down at the end of the season.
The Browns signed him to a 68 million dollar extension in 2014 with Haden coming off of his second and last Pro Bowl appearance.
