PITTSBURGH, PA – It looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers are finally parting ways with star running back, Le'Veon Bell. Wednesday, General Manager of the Steelers Kevin Colbert told reporters that the team will not use the transition tag on Bell. "Le'Veon will be an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year," said Colbert.

It was believed that the Steelers were going to try and tag Bell and either match a contract offer, or tag and trade the five year veteran. Ultimately, Pittsburgh decided that the tag ordeal would be a "longshot" option.

Bell will now hit the open market and hope to receive what the Steelers weren't willing to provide.

More to come.
