Dulac – Steelers Could End Deal Anytime

Gerry Dulac from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette is reporting that the Steelers could decide to end the Antonio Brown to Oakland deal before it ever happens.

The Steelers and Raiders can’t file the paperwork to make this deal happen until March 13 when the new league “year” starts. So technically the Steelers could decide they aren’t going to let Brown control the situation like he has, or they could do nothing and just complete the deal.

Aditi Kinkhabwala jumped on board with Dulac also.

While it would be highly comical to see the Steelers stop the trade, it seems highly unlikely that it would happen.

    Cancel that AB trade NOW before it’s too late. This is the biggest mistake by the Steelers organization. Big talk from Colbert about not making AB trade unless it benefited the Steelers. So we get a 3rd and 5th round pick from the Raiders? They have THREE first-round picks. Don’t cave into AB demands — make him play or sit out — who cares about AB? Plus we still have $21 million in dead cap space.
    Long-time Steelers fan and….THIS….IS….EMBARRASSING. Let’s recap:
    * Lost AB (got virtually nothing)
    * Lost Bell (got nothing)
    * James Harrison forces a release (signs with Patriots)
    * LaGarrett Blount forces a release (signs with Patriots)
    * Zero Super Bowls in the Killer B’s era (Patriots now tied with six)

    Being a Steelers fan is the joke of the league. The whole leadership team should be fired – Tomlin, Colbert, and even Big Ben should be told to stop calling out players on the radio. Hines Ward is right. The Standard is no longer The Standard
