Fitzgerald Toussaint Back on One-Year Deal

The Steelers decided not to offer Fitzgerald Toussaint an offer sheet as a restricted free agent ahead of free agency. The offer sheet would’ve paid near 2 million.

Today they were able to bring the runningback back on a one-year contract likely at the veteran minimum.

Toussaint was left off the opening day roster last season before eventually being brought up from the practice squad to replace Terrell Watson as the third running back.

The Youngstown, Ohio native has 44 career regular season carries for 134 yards.
