Gilbert and Tuitt return to Practice

Only three players weren't available to play in the Steelers 20-15 win in Detriot 8 days ago, and it looks like two of the three could be ready to go on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Marcus Gilbert and Stephon Tuitt both were participants as the Steelers returned from their four days off for their bye week.

Gilbert took half of the first team snaps while splitting with backup Chris Hubbard. Gilbert has been sidelined since the Vikings game with a nagging hamstring injury. He attempted to return against the Chiefs, but reaggrevated the injury in the first quarter.

The Steelers also released tackle Jake Rodgers from the practice squad which should be a sign that Gilbert is ready to go.

Tuitt was able to practice after missing the last two games with a back injury.

"I'm blessed, if you watch what's been going around early on in this season. A lot of guys have been injured," Tuitt said.

Vance McDonald was the third player to miss the Indianapolis game, but there has been no report on whether he was able to practice today. The same can be said for safety Mike Mitchell who left the Lions game with a calf injury.

Mike Tomlin will address the media tomorrow at noon and we should know more about all of their availability from there.
