PITTSBURGH, PA – Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster has been named to his first Pro Bowl Selection. He will be replacing injured teammate, Antonio Brown.
Smith-Schuster piled up the stats this past regular season finishing with 111 receptions (good for 2nd in the AFC), and 1,426 receiving yards (good for 3rd in the AFC). Smith-Schuster also had eight 100-yard receiving games which was a personal milestone.
Many believed Smith-Schuster was a "shoe-in" long before the announcement of his first Pro Bowl Selection on Monday as he finished ahead of fellow wide receiver and teammate Antonio Brown in several categories, but the 22 year old is beyond excited to say the least.
What a blessing! To think how far I’ve come from where I started... Dreamed about playing in this game, and it’s a huge honor to be recognized in this way, thank you!! It’s littttyyy!!! 🔥💫 pic.twitter.com/lDmeMOZ8Bh
