Promising Prospects: Devin Bush

The Steelers have major decisions to make with the draft coming up. And one player, in particular, to keep an eye out for is the linebacker, Devin Bush. Bush has had an incredible football history while playing in Michigan and will have no problem adjusting to the NFL.

A key point in Michigan's defense during the past two seasons, Bush earned All-American honors as a junior and is considered a first-round pick by most NFL draft analysts. He’s mean, fast, and is a major threat on the field.

Bush had quite the impressive campaign as a sophomore with 102 tackles (10 tackles for loss) and five sacks. He finished the 2018 season with 80 tackles (9 1/2 for a loss) and five sacks.

During Bush’s 2018 run, he was the team's leading tackler with 80 stops and ranked second on the team in tackles for loss (9.5) and sacks (5.0). Following the season, he was elected as the Nagurski–Woodson Defensive Player of the Year, Butkus–Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year and was named to the All-Big Ten defensive first-team by both the coaches and media. He was then also named a consensus All-American.
