Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers received wide receiver Ryan Switzer in a trade with the Oakland Raiders. The trade was in exchange for draft picks (multiple reports).
Switzer is a former UNC Tar Heel drafted in the 4th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. At North Carolina, he played with current starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears, Mitch Trubisky. Switzer has been said that his quickness and slot experience at the wide receiver position will help not only bolster Pittsburgh's passing game, but the return game as well.
More details ahead.
