On Thursday January 21st the Pittsburgh Steelers hosted free agent offensive lineman Aviante Collins for a visit according to the NFL Transaction Sheet.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Steelers view Collins if he is signed, as he isn’t the prototypical offensive tackle size, even though that is where the majority of his football experience is. Collins is 6’4″ and 300lbs which is a little light for an offensive tackle. He is a very good athlete however.

Collins has spent his entire career with the Minnesota Vikings since being signed as an undrafted free agent in May 2017. He played his college football at Texas Christian University.
