“Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell have signed contracts for a heavyweight boxing exhibition on July 30 at Arena in Los Angeles, sources tell MikeCoppinger of ESPN”

Bell has reportedly told friends that his playing days in the NFL are now over and that he wants to focus on boxing now. Last season Bell signed with the Baltimore Ravens after they suffered several injuries at the position. After 5 games the Ravens released Bell. He would later sign with Tampa Bay, but only received 8 rushing attempts before he was again released.

Peterson spent 9 seasons with Minnesota before bouncing around the league for the past couple of seasons. Peterson started two games last year for the Tennessee Titans after Derek Henry went down with an injury. He was released after his third game. He was picked up by the Seattle Seahawks but was there for one game.

30-year-old Bell, and 37-year old Peterson will be part of YouTube superstar Austin McBroom’s Social Gloves event in Los Angeles. The website says this about the event.

Over a year in the making, social media superstars Austin McBroom and Gib meet in the squared circle to settle the score at Social Gloves: No More Talk. Featuring celebrity athletes from the world of sports, music, and social media participating alongside a stacked undercard of professional boxing, Social Gloves: No More Talk will bring the greatest collection of today’s boxing personalities under one roof.

ESPN, Steelers Insider Tout TE Connor Heyward As “Surprise Standout” From 2022 Off-Season

The Steelers have always been a central part of my life. I grew up listening to WDVE tapes recorded off of the radio of Steelers fight songs, and wearing Steelers jerseys as a fashion statement. I joined the message board when I was 12, and this site has been a big part of my life ever since. I’ve found life long friends and met some of the best people on earth through this site. In 2015, I was able to help revive the site and develop a news website and all of our social media platforms. I can’t wait to continue to grow with all of you. Go Steelers!
