The Steelers released RB Brandon Brown-Dukes, and waived/injured CB Greg Ducre. Replacing them on the roster is WR Justin Thomas, and CB Antonio Crawford.

Thomas was originally signed by the Saints after being invited to join their rookie mini camp. He tried out as a defensive back but was moved to wide receiver receiver once he was signed to the 90 man roster. Thomas was a duel-threat QB/WR at Georgia Tech. He only completed 48.6% of his passes at GT which prompted his move to another position. He has spent time with the Saints and Rams before landing in Pittsburgh.

Crawford is an undrafted free agent from West Virginia. He played there one season after transferring from Miami.
