The Steelers announced on Wednesday that they've come to an agreement with free agent punter Jordan Berry. The deal could keep Berry with the Steelers for two more seasons.
While the terms of the deal weren't announced it can't be possible that the Steelers paid Berry anymore than the veteran minimum. Berry finished near the bottom of the league in every statistic possible while being very inconsistent from week to week.
We have agreed to terms with P Jordan Berry and LB Anthony Chickillo on new two-year deals.

It was thought during one part of the season that the Steelers would have to move on from Berry mid-season, but that never came as Berry would seemingly have a booming punt on what would've seemed like his last chance.
Under no circumstances should Berry feel safe about his future in Pittsburgh. The Steelers will surely have competition for the punting position during the preseason.
