A few more XFL standouts were signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday including defensive end Dewayne Hendrix, safety Tyree Kinnel, and linebacker/long snapper Christian Kuntz. Each player was awarded a one-year contract.

Hendrix actually played college ball at the University of Pittsburgh before going undrafted in last season’s NFL Draft. Kinnel played for the DC Defenders in the XFL most recently as he also went undrafted in 2019. Kuntz was on the Steelers roster last preseason before being released when the team made their 53-man roster cuts.

Steelers staying busy this off-season. More to come.

Managing Editor of, I’m a Steelers fan first, and a human being second. I BLEED black and gold! I love everything Steeler Nation and I’ve been with this staff since February 2018. I now reside in sunny San Diego, CA, but that doesn’t stop me from going to at LEAST 3-4 Steeler games a season. I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010, and if I’m not watching a Steelers game, you can catch me at the beach, stuffing my face with Golden Oreos, or in front of anything Marvel. I report breaking news, I'm the site's designer, and I’m a big Penguins fan too! Follow me on Instagram @bwall_24! And if you need a new website for your own business or personal brand, hit me up!
