According to NFL Networks Ian Rapoport the Steelers will release veteran running back Knile Davis. Davis was brought in to solidify the back up running back position and the kick return game.
That probably would've been the case if Terrell Watson wouldn't of made such an impact during training camp and on the field during the preseason games. It's undermined if Watson will make the roster but his chances just got a lot better.
