Three Sit out Practice Thursday

It appears as the Steelers will be without Stephon Tuitt for another game on Sunday night. Tuitt told reports that the Steelers have decided to hold him out of the game against the Lions in an effort to give him two extra weeks to recover.

Tuitt’s back injury popped up last week leaving him unable to practice all week and miss the division showdown with Cincinnati.

Tuitt seems to be in the same boat as tackle Marcus Gilbert. It was found out last week that he would be held out until after the bye week also as he deals with a nagging hamstring injury.

Vance McDonald injured his knee against the Bengals and will need to practice tomorrow if he has any chance of playing on Sunday.
