By G.Stryker:
Steelers are healthy this week after playing the Cleveland Browns. Ben Roethlisberger broke his non throwing index finger in the second quarter, but finished the game and will stay today.
The cornerback situation is now a little questionable with Artie Burns and Coty Sensabaugh listed as such this week. .
Marcus Gilbert still looks about a week away.
I track and try to predict timelines for Steeler players returning to the field. This is a link to our current spreadsheet. It will update on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after the practice reports are issued, as well as Post-Game and Tuesday after Coach Tomlin's press conferences. Bookmark it to see how the health of the Steelers are shaping up each week. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GsYG2aM0qh6qCaduhdnDQVgEn83cGHEWrPp6O5SGPHg
I believe the inactive players will be:
- Mason Rudolph: Healthy Scratch/ 3rd QB
- Marcus Gilbert: Officially ruled doubtful, so he probably won't play
- James Washington: was a surprise inactive last week, Steelers seem to like Justin Hunter and his blocking more.
- Marcus Allen: safeties are healthy so he should sit.
- LT Walton: D is healthy, so he is sitting
- Zach Banner: The offensive line is going with Matt Feiler starting at RT for Gilbert, BJ Finney is the top interior backup, and Chukwuma Okorafor will be the extra tackle, and backup swing tackle.
- Brian Allen: could be Burns or Sensabaugh could sit depending on their health. But it's Ravens week. Look for both to play.
After getting 6/7 correct last game, my predictions are 43/49 on the year.
