This afternoon we were reminded just how big of a jerk Antonio Brown has become. He tweeted out a reply to a fan who posted a photo of JuJu Smith-Schuster with text pertaining to his team MVP award from this past season. The tweet from Brown said:
"Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of the year! Everyone went blind to busy making guys famous not enough reality these days! By the way check the list."
Not only does this sound like AB never graduated from Middle School English but the fact that he had the nerve to talk about JuJu blowing the Steelers chances at the playoffs is absurd. Brown ditched his teammates for the final week of the season because his giant ego was hurt. Meanwhile, Smith-Schuster plays as hard as anyone in the NFL and gives his all week in and week out but somehow he is the bad guy in the eyes of AB.
JuJu came out on January 30th in an ESPN interview and had nothing but nice things to say about Brown.
“He’s cool with everybody. He never really looks down at nobody. He’s just a guy that everybody wants to be around because of what he can do on the field. I mean, he works hard every day….He’s a guy that we want on our team. Obviously, what he does for our team… he does amazing things. He produces. He does things we all like. He’s a great mentor to me. There’s no situation, no problem with me and him. I don’t see him going anywhere.”
AB's mother must never had taught him if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. It's never been easier to lose a superstar than it's been for the fans in Pittsburgh. We should grateful for JuJu Smith-Schuster, he has clapped back at AB on twitter in a string of tweets:
"All I ever did was show that man love and respect from the moment I got to the league. I was genuinely happy for him too when he got traded to Oakland w/ a big contract, and now he takes shots at me on social media?
Crazy how big that ego got to be to take shots at people who show you love! Smh"
The stupidity Brown is showing on social media theses days is unrivaled. He tweeted out earlier today: "Keep your emotions off social media"
Two hours later he's tweeting his emotions on twitter. Coach Chucky may want to issue a 'random' drug test for Brown.
