After a disastrous season to date, the Steelers have placed kicker Chris Boswell on injured reserve. The decision comes at a curious time and considering the kicker is coming off his best games to date.
No word on what the injury is for Boswell.
With Boswell now out for the rest of the season the team has signed rookie Matt McCrane. He has spent time with Oakland, and Arizona this season while making only 5 of 9 attempts.
