Yet another injury for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has risen this week as wide receiver, James Washington is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a shoulder injury. Washington was hurt during Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens during the third quarter per NFL Network Insider, Ian Rapoport. Currently, Washington has nine receptions for 140 yards on the year.
The second year pass catcher joins QB Ben Roethlisberger, QB Mason Rudolph, and RB Jaylen Samuels as the latest Steelers offensive weapon to miss extensive time this season.
While Washington recuperates, expect to see more of wide receivers, Johnny Holton, Ryan Switzer, and Donte Moncrief.
More details ahead.
