Apparently a few days ago on NFLNetwork, former wide receiver Steve Smith claimed new Steelers CB Steve Nelson "didn't really cover anybody" and that didn't go over well with Nelson.

The video, or word of mouth must've finally got around to Nelson by late Saturday night. (Hide the kids, there are some profanities)
Steve Smith I donβt know who paid you to talk crazy better go watch some more film sir but you can come out of retirement and get this work crazy you seen me in Atlanta for super bowl lips was stitched ... we gone see I canβt wait I love all the hate #morelife #ongod

Just wait

He also threw out a diss about Smith being shut down by Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey the last time the two played. A quick check shows Smith finished with 8 receptions for 86 yards the last time Smith played the Jags in 2016.
While we don't really want to see any Steelers player going off on Twitter due to all the recent drama that's surrounded the team, it is good to see something lighting a fire under a Steelers cornerback. They will need Nelson to be worth every penny of his contract.
