Second year running back James Conner made quite the name for himself last week against the Cleveland Browns, and has thus far lived up to all of the hype surrounding him. The high praise he has received from his teammates has obviously held a lot of truth after last week. Conner carried the Steelers offense with 195 total yards and 2 touchdowns.
James Conner was a stud in his time at the University of Pittsburgh, he was named AFCA first-team All-American as well as ACC Player of the Year in 2014, after accumulating 1,765 yards and 26 touchdowns. In 2015, Conner tore his MCL as well as being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma while rehabbing from his injury. To say that Conner can handle the big stage, is an understatement after all that this young man has gone through.

Conner is making the most of his current opportunity to handle the workload the team expects him to carry, as well as consistently live up to the potential he clearly possesses. Conner ran the ball last week with

Needless to say and regardless of his role, it's clear that the presence of James Conner provides a good vibe and a lot of promise for the team in years to come.
