Two of the Pittsburgh Steelers' youngest and brightest stars, wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool, took to the media on Wednesday. Not many are aware, but in last Sunday's game vs. the Baltimore Ravens, Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger was "making up plays" throughout the second half to spark the offense. Both Smith-Schuster and Claypool spoke to that.

"When we first went to the 'empty' play [the five wide or four wide with the tight end], Ben [Roethlisberger] was making up plays as we went. When Ben does that, he sees something that he likes. I think it was one of the quick plays I got, it was like me, I was stacked behind Chase [Claypool], and I got the ball. That's something that we haven't called in practice and we just went out there did it. Before that, he told me, 'I need you right here on this play.' He was like, 'Can you do it?' and I was like, 'I got you.' - JuJu Smith-Schuster

"I would say it's probably easier, because he's [Ben Roethlisberger] telling you what side of the field to be on, and what concept to run. So you really just have to know the concept, and that's not too hard. I think just being aware of the tempo that we're going at, just making sure you run back to Ben and you get the play, you get lined up; I think that was the most important thing. But I didn't think it was too bad." - Chase Claypool

The Steelers trailed 17-7 at halftime, but were able to rally back to beat the Ravens in the second half. Smith-Schuster finished the game with 7 receptions for 67 yards, and Claypool finished with 5 receptions for 42 yards and 1 game-winning touchdown. The Steelers are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at 4:25 pm ET at AT&T Stadium.

More to come.
