It's only Week 5 in the 2017 NFL season, but it's never too early to take a peak at who the Steelers will play next season.
The topic was brought up to me that this year could be Tom Brady's last trip to Heinz Field (fingers crossed), but I quickly realized upon looking at next year's opponents that it most likely would not be the case.
The Steelers play the AFC West division next year, but they also match up with the AFC East team that finishes with the same rank in their own division. Should New England and Pittsburgh both finish in first place then the Pats would return to Pittsburgh for the third straight season in 2018.
Here's a look at who the Steelers will play against.
Home
Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Atlanta, Los Angeles (Chargers), and the AFC East team who finishes with the same division position.
Away
Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver, Oakland(Las Vegas?), New Orleans, Tampa Bay, and the AFC South team who finishes with the same division position.
The last time the Steelers faced these opponents at home and on the road they finished 12-4 enroute to Super Bowl 45.
