On Wednesday the Steelers signed defensive tackle Cavon Walker, and offensive Lineman Jarron Jones. Walker and Jones most recently played in the XFL for the New York Gladiators.
Walker, 25, is listed at 6'2 286 pounds. He adds some much needed depth to the defensive front for the Steelers. Walker posted 4.5 sacks and 5 tackles for a loss in the XFLs shortened season.
Walker came to the NFL originally as an undrafted free agent of the Bears in 2018. He was released by the Bears and was in training camp with the Chiefs last season before being released.
