The Steelers have promoted WR/KR Johnny Holton to the 53 man roster. Holton was a preseason favorite after several explosive plays on the offensive side of the ball.
To make room on the 53 man roster the Steelers released OLB Tuzar Skipper. Skipper was another fan favorite during training camp compiling 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles during the preseason.
The Steelers could add Skipper back to the practice squad on Monday if he isn't claimed on waivers.
