The Steelers had their first positive test among their coaching staff over the weekend and now it's spread to the players.
The team announced this afternoon that a player had tested positive from the tests given out on Sunday morning. Vance McDonald is apparently the player who tested positive as his name came across the transaction list for being played on the COVID Reserve list.
McDonald missed practice on Friday with the flu, but tested negative for COVID. He traveled and played 20 snaps yesterday. The team is in the process of contact tracing to see who may potentially also be infected. Those players would need to test negative for the next five days and they would be cleared to play on Sunday against Cincinnati.
