The Steelers have a few injuries for the first time this season. Nothing serious, but still a few starters that were going to need to keep track of as far as practice goes heading into Friday.
Of the injured players from Sunday's game against Kansas City, only Tyler Matakevich practiced today. Coach Tomlin described him as having an injured shoulder, but he didn't rule him out for Sunday. Practicing today helps his cause as long as he doesn't take any steps back.
Stephon Tuitt (back), Maurkice Pouncey (chest), Vince Williams (hip), Ramon Foster (back), and Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) did not participate in practice today.
Gilbert had an MRI on his injured hamstring on Monday, and I don't expect him to play this week.

Ben Roethlisberger took the field for the second straight week on Wednesday after skipping all but one Wednesday practice since week 1. Martavis Bryant confirmed to the media after practice that he caught a long bomb from Roethlisberger in the 11 on 11 portion of practice. Hopefully more to come on Sunday.
