The Steelers got some encouraging news as Marcus Gilbert said he will play on Sunday against the Chiefs. Gilbert has missed the last three weeks with a hamstring injury.
Last week he practiced on Wednesday, but had a setback that forced him out for the rest of the week.
Maurkice Pouncey, and Ramon Foster did not practice today. Foster has a thumb injury, but hasn't missed any time. Both are expected to practice tomorrow.
Ryan Shazier was limited with a quad injury, but said Coach Tomlin just wanted to hold him back a little bit to keep him fresh.
Another thing of note was Ben Roethlisberger practiced for the first time on a Wednesday all season. Roethlisberger was critical of his play on Sunday (obviously), and made sure he was back on the field at the first opportunity. He said that the decision to not practice has been something that Coach Tomlin allows him to decide each week depending on how he feels.
Check back tomorrow for an update.
