On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers made a couple changes to their practice squad. They signed linebacker and long snapper Christian Kuntz, as well as offensive lineman, John Leglue. The Steelers also moved offensive tackle Jarron Jones to the Practice Squad/Injured List.
Kuntz's name will sound familiar as he has been with the Steelers before. He was signed to the Steelers practice squad on Novemeber 24th of this year, but was released on December 23rd. He was also with the Steelers briefly during the 2019 preseason.
Leglue is a versatile offensive lineman in his second year out of Tulane. He has experience at all three offensive line positions from his college days while mainly being an offensive tackle in the NFL. Leglue was an undrafted free agent who spent brief time with the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, and the Green Bay Packers in 2019.
Jones signed with the Steelers in April of this year and has spent the entire season on the practice squad. Jones is a former defensive tackle out of Notre Dame who transitioned to offensive tackle in the NFL. He has spent time with several different NFL teams since 2017, including a stint in the XFL with the New York Guardians.
