Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, DeMarkus Acy notified Steeler Nation via Twitter today that he's unfortunately torn his ACL.
Unfortunately tore my acl today, it hurts that this happened just days before my pro debut but there’s no quit in me. Prayer has always got me through anything and I continue to live through faith and let life teach me valuable lessons.

Acy (23) signed with the San Francisco 49ers following the 2020 NFL Draft before signing with the Steelers in May 2021.
"He played in 47 games at Missouri with 36 starts while recording 99 tackles, 23 pass defenses, three interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. In 2019 he started 10 games, finishing with 15 tackles, five pass defenses, while recording 30 tackles, 13 pass defenses and coming through with three interceptions in 2018." - Steelers.com
