Betting On The Steelers

As the team with the most AFC North titles, there are good reasons why fans would decide to wager money on them. When we look at the previous games in the general season, the Steelers have had quite a good record. In week 2, they won 26-22 against the Browns as a 2.5-point underdog. The following week, they won 23-18 against the Las Vegas Raiders, also as a 2.5-point underdog, where the total (41) was under the 43.5-point line. And in week 5, they won against the Ravens 17-10 as a 4.5-point underdog. Needless to say, the Pittsburgh Steelers have proved their worth in this year’s NFL season. The Odds Of Steelers Winning

The last time the Steelers won the AFC North was in 2020. In the last decade, the Steelers could take home the trophy four times. So what are the odds this time? As of recently, the odds of the Steelers winning the entire AFC North are +375. Therefore, they aren’t the favorites since the odds for the other teams are +165, +250, and +350. This makes the Ravens the favorites. Therefore, a bet on the Steelers is a risky bet. However, there can be a solid payout if fans place a bet on the Steelers claiming the AFC North. On the other hand, even though the Steelers have shown solid performances, they are still playing against strong teams.

The Win in Week 9

Since the Steelers and the Titans have had several intense games throughout the years, November 1st would be no exception.  As one of the most convincing wins of the season, the 20-16 victory against the Tennessee Titans cemented the Steelers’ homecoming to success.

In this game, the Steelers made a daring move and received the ball after they won the coin toss. Even though this wasn’t the first time, RB Najee Harris succeeded with a 10-yard rushing touchdown. The victory of Week 9 indicated that the Steelers would be in good shape to earn a spot in the Wild Card playoffs.

The Beginning Of The Division

At the beginning of the year, the odds were against The Steelers. Of the four teams, the Steelers had +500 odds to win the division, making them the team with the worst odds. According to the sportsbooks, The Ravens with -110 odds, the Browns with +350 and the Bengals with +450 were all considered luckier teams. However, during the season, the Steelers have switched spots with the Bengals back and forth for the first place.

However, the bye week changed the trajectory of their season since the rest of the teams in the AFC North emerged with the victories of Week 6, as they swept their opponents. Despite the offensive struggles of the Steelers, they managed to win against the Rams, Jaguars and the Titans following the bye week. As the final AFC North matchups against the Bengals are happening in Week 16, fans still have time to anticipate the endgame for the Steelers.
