In all sports, winning trophies is what defines a team's legacy over time. But a team that goes an exceptionally long run of games unbeaten establishes itself in the minds of fans as the greatest team of all-time. These greatest unbeaten streaks feature some of the most dominant teams the world of sports has ever seen. The significance of these streaks extends beyond the field or court, capturing the attention of non GamStop betting sites members who eagerly follow the team's performance and may place wagers on each game, hoping to capitalize on the team's extraordinary success.

Pittsburgh Steelers
When people think of the most dominant NFL streaks, they quickly think of the winning streak of Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin. He has had a non-losing season 16 consecutive times. This includes two Super Bowl appearances, winning his first in the 2008 season.
Arsenal
At the end of the 2002-03 season, Arsène Wenger's Arsenal team were second to Manchester United, just five points behind. The Gunners won their last two games of the season 6-1 and 4-0 after losing the game against Leeds on matchday 36.
This was followed by the 2003-04 season, which would go down in English football history. Wenger's team consisted of none other than Jens Lehmann, Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg, Dennis Bergkamp and of course Thierry Henry. All these stars hunted for points together and achieved 26 wins and 12 draws, which was more than enough to win the title and earn the nickname "Invincibles."
In the 2004-05 season, Arsenal won their first five games as defending champions and remained unbeaten for nine games before losing 2-0 to Manchester United. The phenomenal series ended on October 24th.
With new manager Unai Emery joining the club this summer, Arsenal are at 26.00 to win the Premier League next season.
Celtic
In 2017, Celtic managed to break the record they had set 100 years earlier. Coach Brendan Rodgers was the driving force behind this brilliant record of 69 games unbeaten in all Scottish competitions.
The unbeaten streak began spectacularly on May 15, 2016, with a 7-0 win against Motherwell. In the aftermath, the run seemed virtually never-ending as the Celtic team rolled over everything in their path in Scotland. But finally, on December 17th it was the Hearts of Midlothian who celebrated a strong 4-0 victory out of nowhere.
Next season, the chance of winning the Scottish championship is once again at an impressive odds of 1.05, well ahead of Rangers and Aberdeen.
Steaua Bucharest
The record for the longest unbeaten run in Europe is held by the Romanian team Steaua Bucharest. In the 1980s, the team of Emeric Jenei and Anghel IordΔnescu dominated Romanian football and even performed well on the European stage.
During their impressive streak of 119 consecutive games unbeaten, Steaua Bucharest won five consecutive league titles and 15 cup games. When it comes to dominating in the top flight, it's very unlikely that any team will ever come close to that record.
Manchester United
Thanks to Sir Alex Ferguson's 27 years at Manchester United, he is rightly regarded as the father of many teams that he patiently built and led and which will ultimately go down in history as some of the best of all time. Ferguson was never one to dwell on defeats for long - provided the season went according to plan. That's precisely why Ferguson's performance in the Champions League from 2007 to 2009 was quite spectacular.
With a Champions League victory in the middle of the series, Manchester United played their way undefeated from the group stage game of the 2007/08 season to the final of the Champions League in the 2008/09 season. A masterful display from Xavi, Andreas Iniesta, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi ultimately proved too much for United.
Manchester United's first game of the season is against Leicester. The odds of a win are 1.40.

West Indies
In international Test cricket, it can be very difficult for a team to maintain an unbeaten run. With teams playing on many different pitches, in all types of weather and vastly different climate conditions around the world, maintaining good form for an extended period of time is a major challenge.
From 1982 to 1984, the West Indies Test team proved they could handle all pitches and all conditions in both hemispheres. During their incredible 27 Test match unbeaten streak, captain Clive Lloyd led the Caribbean to tours including Australia, India and England.
Unfortunately, things are unlikely to go well for the current team at the ICC World Cup, where they compete at odds of 17.00.
Philadelphia Flyers
In the NHL, it can be statistically proven that the best teams still lose around a quarter of their games. This is not least due to the high demands of the extensive schedule as well as the physical component of the games themselves. So for a team to go undefeated for almost half of the season is a pretty impressive achievement.
In the 1979-80 season, the Philadelphia Flyers remained undefeated during a run of 25 wins and 10 draws en route to the President's Trophy and defeat in the Stanley Cup Final.
New York Giants
Way back in 1916, the New York Giants managed to go undefeated 26 straight times. This shocked the National League, as the Giants were the worst NL team in the MLB just the previous year.
But in 1916, the Giants went on an unprecedented run toward the end of the season, lasting 26 games without a single loss. Nevertheless, in the end, they were only in fourth place in the National League.
After the war, it was the Cleveland Indians who remained undefeated the longest, with 22 games in 2017. Despite recent strong seasons, the Indians have odds of 17.00 to win the World Series this year.
Los Angeles Lakers
Led by Bill Sharman and featuring stars like Wilt Chamberlain, Gail Goodrich, Jerry West and Jim McMillian, the 1971-72 Lakers managed to break the looming dynasty of the Milwaukee Bucks with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

During the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers went on a monstrous run from Game 10 to Game 42 that lasted 33 games. Since the NBA doesn't count draws or overtime games, it was a 33-game winning streak. The Lakers won their division, and conference, and then won the crown as the new NBA champions.
