Pittsburgh Steelers, like many other teams, will use the draft as an opportunity to strengthen their teams with top prospects in the early rounds or take a flyer on a high-upside prospect in later rounds. This isn't just a hectic time for teams but also for fans anticipating which players will be drafted to their favorite team and bettors trying to predict how the selections will unfold. Here’s what we can tell you before draft day.

Steelers' picks by round

The Steelers have a total of six draft picks this year and hold the 21st overall pick. They no longer have a second-round pick after trading to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Their six picks in the draft are listed below in order:

  • Round 1: No. 21 overall

  • Round 3: No. 83

  • Round 4: No. 123

  • Round 5: No. 156

  • Round 6: No. 185 (from Bears through Seahawks)

  • Round 7: No. 229 (from Falcons through Eagles)

As you can see above, Pittsburgh draft trades this year also include another exchange with the Seahawks for the sixth round pick, and a swap with the Philadelphia Eagles for their seventh-round pick.
