By G.Stryker:
After being inactive for the past 3 games, James Conner is listed as questionable, and practiced all week. It looks like he’ll be playing today.
Sean Davis is battling a quad. After not practicing on Wednesday, and Thursday, he practiced fully on Friday. Though he is also listed as questionable, I expect him to play today.
Vince Williams, did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful with a toe injury. I don’t expect him to play
Antonio Brown is the wild card this week with a knee injury. He didn’t practice all week and is listed as a game time decision. I know this game is important, but they won’t hurry AB back if he can’t go. Resting him may be the best move, just in case the Steelers survive to play in the playoffs next week.
I track and try to predict timelines for Steeler players returning to the field. This is a link to our current spreadsheet. It will update on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after the practice reports are issued, as well as Post-Game and Tuesday after Coach Tomlin's press conferences. Bookmark it to see how the health of the Steelers are shaping up each week.
I believe the inactive players will be:
- Mason Rudolph: Healthy Scratch/ 3rd QB
- Vince Williams: Listed as doubtful, so he most likely will not play
- Zach Banner: Is the choice on offense line to sit.
- Tre Edmunds: Conner is back so a running back has to sit.
- LT Walton: The DL is healthy so LT will be inactive.
- Brian Allen: The corners are healthy, so Brian usually rests when that happens.
- Antonio Brown: His practice status is not positive. He’s more valuable if he can play next week, and I don’t think the Steelers need him to win this game.
After getting 7/7 correct last game, my predictions are 92/105 on the year.
