Diontae Johnson missed the first practice of the week with a back injury from returning a punt against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was limited on Thursday and did not practice on Friday. He is ruled out from playing.
David DeCastro also injured his abdomen in the same game. He did not practice all week and is ruled out against Cleveland.
Derek Watt and Marcus Allen practiced all week and were not given an injury designation. Everyone else is healthy, and no one else is listed in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report for this week’s game.
This is a link to our current spreadsheet. It will update on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after the practice reports are issued, as well as Post-Game and Tuesday after Coach Tomlin's press conferences. Bookmark it to see how the health of the Steelers are shaping up each week.
This week I believe the inactive players will be:
- Josh Dobbs: Healthy scratch/ 3rd QB
- David DeCastro: Ruled out so he won’t play.
- Diontae Johnson: Ruled out so he won’t play.
- Zach Gentry: Both tight ends are healthy, so Zach shouldn’t be playing.
- Carlos Davis: Has not been active yet this year. All defensive linemen are healthy, so Carlos is the odd man out.
Who do you think will be inactive for the Steelers this week? Let us know in the comments below.
