A lot of questions can be asked following the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday night. It kind of just seems like a rerun of last week's outcome. The Steelers are beating themselves, and the bad part is, it's so blatantly obvious. I don't want to take anything away from the Bills, they proved themselves as being a top tier AFC team this season. Buffalo was clicking on both offense and defense, but the Steelers definitely had chances to produce points and failed to do so.

Our offense has been failing us these past few weeks, mainly due to the lack of running game that seems to have digressed in a major way since the beginning of the season, but that is just one thing on a long list. Shockingly enough, Ben Roethlisberger’s play has not been up to par over these past few weeks as well. In just his last four games, Roethlisberger has thrown 5 interceptions, which is good for over half of his total for the season thus far. Like I said, there is a long list of reasons why Roethlisberger's play has declined these last few weeks, but he'll be the first guy to tell you that he needs to be better.

In his post game press conference following the loss to Buffalo, Roethlisberger was asked a couple of good questions by journalist Brooke Pryor, and followed those questions up with some notable answers. Watch below:

In the same tone, Big Ben when asked what seemed to be off with all of his off target throws and under thrown balls. His answer was simple, “I'm just not very good”. As the quarterback of an 11-2 football team, confidence should be oozing out of him, knowing he has a record to back it up. These are disheartening words to hear for us as Steelers fans, but we have seen what Roethlisberger can do during the rugged December football schedule, and there is no reason for us to not be excited going forward. Remember, we are an 11-2 football team who has already clinched a playoff berth. Yes, these past few weeks have been rough and there is no denying that, but it is better to get games/performances like this out if the way early, then to have one hit you right in the face once January comes.

Let's not panic, this team has been kicked around but they are not out. Injuries have made it harder but this team still has a great shot to do some damage in the playoffs. It's time to move on and move forward.

A LOT of season left, with the playoffs right around the corner! Let us know how you think the season will end in the comment section below!
