Ben Roethlisberger Wins AFC Offensive Player of the Week

In Sunday night's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, things did not always look so great for Pittsburgh especially in the second half as the Steelers found themselves fighting their way back to the lead they once held. Ben Roethlisberger helped tremendously in getting that lead back and eventually would also lead Pittsburgh to victory, racking up their 8th straight win.

Roethlisberger finished the night with a huge stat-line consisting of 44 completed passes on 66 attempts (most attempts by Roethlisberger in his career), as well as 506 yards and two touchdowns. This was Big Ben's third 500+ yard passing game to give him the lead in that category as well, previously tied with Drew Brees (2). It goes without saying, but Roethlisberger more than deserved to be this week's AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The Steelers offense had looked stagnant in the third quarter of Sunday's matchup, but Big Ben and his fellow Killer B's overcame adversity again to add another W to their season total. Congratulations, Ben, and thank you!
