Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin took to the podium once again for his weekly press conference. To most fans and media surprise, running back Jaylen Samuels was said to have had his knee scoped, and will be out for about a month. Samuels suffered a knee sprain after Sunday's overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
"We had him evaluated and saw that that was necessary, so we made the decision to fix it ASAP and it was fixed yesterday," Tomlin said.
Samuels has 50 rushing yards on the year including one rushing touchdown, to go along with 13 receptions for 83 yards. Look to see more of rookie Benny Snell Jr. in the backfield behind James Conner while Samuels sits.
More details ahead.
