Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph has officially been ruled out for Week 6. This is due to the vicious hit he suffered last week from Baltimore Ravens safety, Earl Thomas who was later fined $21,000. Rudolph practiced this week but remains in concussion protocol.

This ultimately initiates the "next man up" mentality for Pittsburgh which places 2019 undrafted third-string rookie QB, Devlin "Duck" Hodges in the spotlight. Hodges (23) will make his first career NFL start on Sunday Night Football vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

"[Hodges] walks into the huddle like a little kid, but he plays big." - Ramon Foster, OL

Hodges entered the game last week for the injured Rudolph and completed 7 of 9 passes for 68 yards in the overtime loss to the Ravens.

Practice squad QB Paxton Lynch has been added to the active roster to back up Hodges.

How do you think "Duck" will fair in his first career start!? Let us know in the comment section below!
