There's a very hopeful feeling in Pittsburgh right now as the presence of a "new era" seems to be unfolding right before our very eyes. Along with QB Mason Rudolph, and newcomer safety, Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Miami Dolphins, it looks like the Steelers will have at least one more new starter to add Sunday against the surging San Francisco 49ers.

Johnson (23), who was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, will replace WR Donte Moncrief in the starting lineup. Moncrief was acquired by the Steelers this past off-season, only to see his career as a Steeler so far start off as a nightmare. In two games for the Steelers, Moncrief has five drops this season on top of suffering a dislocated finger.
Johnson has four catches for 42 yards on this young season so far, and will look to continue to grow his role and help the offense moving forward.
