The Steelers decided to part ways with offensive coordinator Randy Fitchner this morning, and a top candidate could be quarterback coach Matt Canada.
But that's if the Dolphins don't pry him away from Pittsburgh first. According to NFL NETWORK'S Ian Rapport the Dolphins have an interest in Canada to replace Chan Gailey as the teams offensive coordinator. Gailey of course is also a former offensive coordinator of the Steelers in the 90s.
Dolphins are believed to be taking a hard look at Steelers QBs coach Matt Canada for OC. Canada consulted with Miami last year, acquitted himself well in Pittsburgh.

Canada was a consultant in Miami in 2019 before heading to Pittsburgh. Prior to that Canada spent time as an offensive coordinator at Maryland, LSU, Pittsburgh, and NC State at the college level.
