Rogers had a disappointing season after emerging as one of Big Ben's favorite targets in 2016. He was pushed out of the lineup by rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster and mental mistakes during their loss to Chicago in September resulted in him being inactive for two games.
The injury comes at the worst time possible for Rogers as he was set to become a restricted free agent this off season. The Steelers will have to decide whether to tender the third year receiver even though he likely would begin the season on the physically unable to preform list.
