The Steelers could get a big boost to their middle linebacker position on Sunday in the form of Robert Spillane. Spillane has been out since the Washington game with a knee injury. Getting Spillane back would be an instant upgrade and would provide a third piece for a rotation with Avery Williamson and Vince Williams. With Spillane in the game Williams would be able to move back towards the line of scrimmage to help clog up the run.

Guard Matt Feiler has also been out, but he may have lost his starting job to rookie Kevin Dotson. He would still provide a much better depth option if he doesn’t regain his starting guard spot. He could also play right tackle if they feel he would be an upgrade at that position.

As always their practice performance will be the Steelers guide on them playing Sunday.

The Steelers have always been a central part of my life. I grew up listening to WDVE tapes recorded off of the radio of Steelers fight songs, and wearing Steelers jerseys as a fashion statement. I joined the message board when I was 12, and this site has been a big part of my life ever since. I’ve found life long friends and met some of the best people on earth through this site. In 2015, I was able to help revive the site and develop a news website and all of our social media platforms. I can’t wait to continue to grow with all of you. Go Steelers!
