The Steelers could get a big boost to their middle linebacker position on Sunday in the form of Robert Spillane. Spillane has been out since the Washington game with a knee injury. Getting Spillane back would be an instant upgrade and would provide a third piece for a rotation with Avery Williamson and Vince Williams. With Spillane in the game Williams would be able to move back towards the line of scrimmage to help clog up the run.
Guard Matt Feiler has also been out, but he may have lost his starting job to rookie Kevin Dotson. He would still provide a much better depth option if he doesn't regain his starting guard spot. He could also play right tackle if they feel he would be an upgrade at that position.
As always their practice performance will be the Steelers guide on them playing Sunday.
