The Steelers will play the Cowboys on Aug 6 at the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH.
It's been a very public secret for several weeks now that the Steelers would open the 2020 preseason after electing three players into football eternity. It became official on Tuesday morning when it was formally announced.

This will be the Steelers 7th appearance in the game. They hold a 3-3 record and last played in the game in 2015. Some might remember that game because kicker Shaun Suisham tore his ACL which ultimately ended his career. The Steelers went through several kickers after Suisham before finding Chris Boswell half way through the 2015 season.
The Steelers will have five preseason games and will open training camp a week earlier than other teams.
