Today the Steelers re-signed tight end Xavier Grimble, and long snapper Kameron Canaday to one-year contracts.

Canaday beat out sixth round draft pick Colin Holba to take over long time long snapper Greg Warren.

Grimble finished his second season with the Steelers and appeared in 28 games. He has been a key backup over the last two seasons with Ladarius Green and Vance McDonald both missing substantial time.

They also signed some of their own practice squad players to futures contracts. Cornerback Dashaun Phillips, linebacker Farrington Huguenin, safety Jordan Dangerfield, tight end Jake McGee, and linebacker Matt Galambos, who was on injured reserve.
