The Steelers came to terms with 13 undrafted free agents on Sunday following the draft. The most notably coming from local schools, Pitt, and Penn State.
Quadree Henderson of Pitt, a do it all playmaker/returner, may be the most intriguing. The Steelers haven't been able to find a returner who can consistently replace Antonio Brown on those duties. Corner Cam Sutton may be in line for that job this season, but Henderson could grab a roster spot if he's able to show something during the preseason.
Parker Cothren of Penn State started all 13 games for the Nittany Lions last season at defensive tackle. He earned honorable mention on the All Big-10 team.
The other 11 players are as follows:
Jarvion Franklin, RB, Western Michigan; Greg Gilmore, DE, LSU; Trey Johnson, CB, Villanova; Pharoah McKever, TE, North Carolina State; Patrick Morris, C, TCU; Ikenna Nwokeji, OL, Elon; Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, LB, Toledo; Chris Schleuger, G, UAB; Jamar Summers, CB, Connecticut; Matthew Thomas, LB, Florida State and Kendall Vickers, DE, Tennessee.
