Steelers Sign FB Derek Watt

Today the Steelers signed their first free agent. This one comes with a familiar last name. Watt.

Fullback Derek Watt inked a three year deal with the Steelers today joining his brother TJ Watt in black and gold.

The deal will pay Watt 9.75 million over three years. Watts efforts on special teams were surely a key factor in the Steelers making the move on him. He had 16 tackles on special teams, the same amount as Tyler Matakevich had last season for Pittsburgh.
