The Pittsburgh Steelers will not be traveling to Buffalo today for their Sunday night matchup like normal, instead they will be traveling to Buffalo on gameday. The Steelers were granted permission by the NFL to travel on the day of due to the short week and the recent changes they have had on their schedule. I imagine Mike Tomlin and company requested this extra time at home to get in another walk through practice to get players like Avery Williamson and Marcus Allen better acclimated to their roles for the matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Hopefully the annoyance and pain of traveling does not impact the Steelers for a must win matchup in Buffalo.
Because of the short week caused by the recent alterations in their schedule, the Steelers have received permission from the NFL to travel to Buffalo on Sunday. First time they have traveled on game day since Nov. 2012 when they played the Giants in NY during Hurricane Sandy.
