When Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin answered questions from the media this week, quite a few questions ended up revolving around star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Tomlin was asked about JuJu's birthday, what he adds to the team, and how he fits within the social structure of the team, more specifically the wide receiver group.

Smith-Schuster is the young leader of a young wide receiver room. Tomlin mentioned how the guys in the receiver room gravitate towards him, on and off of the football field.

Tomlin went onto say how the younger wide receivers even want to know where he lives and try to live by him. He then went onto call Smith-Schuster "a future team leader, a future team captain.".

At different times throughout his career some media members have criticized Smith-Schuster for being "immature" and not focusing on football enough.

This concern has never been in the Steelers front office or locker room however, and Tomlin's comments confirm that.

Smith-Schuster's contract is up after the 2020 season, but based on Tomlin's comments one would assume that he is definitely part of their future plans.
