The Pittsburgh Steelers received a special athlete when they draft Chase Claypool in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft.
What we all didn't know at the time was that they received a special human being as well.
Recently a user on social media reached out to Claypool to share the story of his father who was 76-years old and recently diagnosed with dementia. The user talks about how he and his father have watched games together for many years, but his dad has a hard time remembering players names now. He asked if someone could send his dad a new jersey to help him remember who some of the players were during the games.
Claypool didn't pass on this opportunity.
